The Founder
Creative Wealth Nigeria Limited
Creative Wealth Nigeria Limited is an organization that was established in 2009 with a simple but powerful mission to empower Nigerians to create the financial freedom in their lives with a focus on our nation’s youth and young adult. The company was officially launched in April 2010 with the announcement of the Nigerian’s first teen/young adult financial summer program called “money camp.”
We specialize in financial literacy and life skills for kids, teens and young adult. We do it in a way that is relevant, effective and, let's even add, FUN which is something most financial education programs have not figured out! We not only figured it out, we teach others how to do it just as well. Not only that but our programs are actually about more than money; they teach life skills that should be taught at home or in school but generally are not.
Our Mission is to be the ultimate source for financial literacy and empowerment education, information and programs in Nigeria for kids, teens and young adults.
Our Vision is to help raise a generation of financially responsible adults, money savvy adults that are self empower financially to support themselves and do a lots of good in the country. |
Creative Wealth Nigeria (CWN) Mission Statement …… “To Empower Individuals to Create Financial Freedom in their Lives” |
|
The word EMPOWER means "to supply or equip with the ability." Kids, teens & young adults do not realize that they are not getting the information they need because they don't know they need it until they become adults. We supply them with the tools and information that leads to the ability to become financially free.
Creative Wealth Nigeria is leading the way in empowering our youths and adults, our philosophy is that in order to change our society from a dependency model to an independency model, we must begin to impart upon our kids, at an early age, a sense of responsibility for themselves and make positive difference to developmental, social, structural, economic and leadership challenges we have as a nation.
We used to say, “We sure hope things will change.” Then we learned that the only way things are going to change for us as a nation is when each of us change, we cannot change our destination overnight, but we can change our direction overnight as a nation.
We have partnered with international companies that have been developing and delivering financial literacy and entrepreneurship curricula for the past 12 years. Our programs lend themselves to a virtually endless variation.
Goals & Objectives
To create an awareness about the need for financial literacy & empowerment education throughout the country.
To give kids and adults the tool to choose and create financial freedom.
To expose kids and adults to the words, concept and principles behind financial freedom.
To provide kids and adults with an environment where everyone is learning how to become financially free.
For every person we touch with this information, we produce a ripple effect that also touches family and friends for years to come.
To facilitate the inclusion of financial education into both public and private school systems.
To have our programs all over the country by 2011, offer our curricula to kids, teens and young adults throughout all of Nigeria.
To utilize a collaborative model with every CWN Coach to continually incorporate new ideas to improve the program that it becomes the most sought after and taught financial literacy empowerment curriculum available.
To empower every live we touch with our message of happy, healthy, wealthy, wise and success for our future generations.
In addition, we must instil a strong core belief in our children, teens & young adult that they CAN grow up and become financially responsible for themselves through legal means.
Our Teaching Technique
Our programs are not your ordinary financial programs! You won’t find a boring lecture or traditional form of instruction here! In all of our curricula, we use a unique delivery method called Accelerated Learning.
What is Accelerated Learning? Accelerated learning (A.L.) is the most advanced teaching and learning method in used today. It is an interactive teaching style that aims to make learning fun, fast and effective. It is based on the way people naturally learn versus the unnatural, mechanistic and rationalistic methods of learning dominant in the 19th and early 20th centuries - and still even seen in our school system today.
A.L. unlocks much of our potential for learning that has been left largely untapped by conventional learning methods. It does this by appealing to all learning styles, actively involving the whole person, using physical movement, creativity, music, images, color, and other methods designed to get people deeply involved in their own learning.
Further, Accelerated Learning is more than just the inclusion of music and the arts, more than playing learning games that are effective and fun, even more than designing learning to appeal to all learning styles. It is a method that begins with the premise that each person is capable of much, much more than they think is possible. AL assumes that our own limiting beliefs about ourselves and our abilities often get in the way of our learning potential.
In an AL classroom, the facilitator creates multiple opportunities for individual and group experiences that enable participants to move beyond those limiting beliefs and tap into their inner wisdom, their hidden potential. The facilitator, the learning environment and the design of the learning process are key determining factors in the success of learning. To learn more about A.L and its history visit: www.ialearn.org/AL.php
How does this Technique benefit our programs? Our participants are engaged throughout the entire program, which enable learner to remember at least 90% of what they are taught, it is doing and having fun!
Place experience before content: Nearly every major concept is tied to a game, activity or process, which means the participants learn about financial concepts without even knowing it.
Repetitive and Review: A wise man once said repetition is the mother of skill. Participants are exposed to the most important information multiple times in a variety of different avenues so the information really sticks.

| Write to the powers that be Burglary, debt, petty theft, corruption, murder. The real crime? Many local crimes that are committed all have a single thing in common: someone was desperate enough to compromise their morals in the acquisition of money. These crimes are the symptoms of a society that does not understand their basic system of exchange. As a result, more and more countries around the world are requiring that financial literacy & empowerment be taught in schools.
Do you really want to jumpstart the financial literacy movement in Nigeria?
Write to the powers that be (i.e. the politicians, pastors, imams, company C.E.O, school principals etc) demanding that our country, our schools, our financial institutions develop some kind of ongoing financial literacy training for our youth. Now more than ever, financial literacy needs to become a priority today. If we all begin to write, they will listen!
